Description
ASH has been developing clinical practice guidelines to improve the quality of care for patients with hematologic conditions, which feature recommendations for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with sickle cell disease, venous thromboembolism, pulmonary embolism, immune thrombocytopenia, acute myeloid leukemia, von Willebrand disease, and other disease areas in the field of hematology. Following the topics of these guidelines, the webinar will highlight successful implementation of strategies, programs, and initiatives that aim to increase the utilization and application of these recommendations. Each topic will include a discussion of the core recommendation(s) associated with the implementation concept, specific examples of how that project has been implemented, and discussion of barriers, opportunities, and scalability of the projects.
